I don't like my hardwood floors - i need some advice?

If you want the same floor throughout then I would use vinyl strip flooring with different prints on it. It is waterproof--good for the bathroom and kitchen--and looks pretty good. You can put laminate flooring down but some of it isn't all that great near water. Hardwood flooring can also be put down, but it isn't the best idea for a bathroom--but it has been done before. You can overlay your existing floor as long as it is all at one level.
