Had a baby on the 1st episiotomy hurts soo bad?

I just had my son on june 1st. I had an episiotomy and it was soo painful the 1st wk but hurt less by the 2nd wk. By the middle of the 3rd wk It started to hurt again. I would look at my self down there a lot to see how I was healing and everything looked fine. When it started hurting again I looked and noticed there is bumps around my stitches. This is the 4th day it hurts and the pain is getting so much worse. I can barely walk or sit down. If I'm laying down its hard to get up :'( I literally cry bcuz of the pain. I went to the ER nd the dr said the stitches were fine and the bumps weren't infected and he gave me pain med. But wat can they be? This isn't normal is it? It hurts so bad and its going to be a month that I've had my baby. Has any one had this or know what this might be? I'm going to make an appt with my obgyn tomorrow..
